How to Apply
All applications to Valistus International School have to be made through our admissions portal. If you are not yet ready to apply, you can register your interest for updates from Woodstock School. Click here to apply now or register your interest.
All applications should be made directly to Woodstock School. We do not have relationships with any advertising or marketing portals, some of which claim to be able to support your child’s application to Woodstock School. We strongly discourage using these third party agents. Please contact our Admissions team if you are in any doubt.

- Year Groups (Grades 1 and above): 7:50 a.m. – 2:45 p.m., Monday to Friday

Learning is delivered through a thematic, play-based approach, gradually becoming more structured from Nursery to Kindergarten. Continuous formative assessment through teacher observations ensures each child’s progress is carefully monitored.

Yes, Valistus offers a safe and reliable school transport service covering most areas of East and South Bangalore, including Whitefield, Kundanahalli, Varthur, Mahadevpura, Hoskote, Krishnarajpuram, Saukya Road etc. The service is optional and can be availed based on the parent’s preference.
Each bus is equipped with AC, CCTV cameras, GPS-enabled app tracking and a dedicated attendant, ensuring comfort, safety and real-time monitoring for parents.

19. Is the Cambridge curriculum recognized in India?
The Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Levels) is widely accepted in India. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) grants equivalence to these qualifications, meaning that IGCSE is recognized as the Class 10 qualification, while AS & A Levels are treated as equivalent to Class 11 and 12. This recognition enables students following the Cambridge pathway to continue into higher secondary education under Indian boards seek admission to universities across India, or pursue higher education abroad depending on their academic goals.

21. Is the IB Diploma Programme recognized in India?
Yes. The IB Diploma has been recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) since 1983, and IB Courses since 2016. Students who meet the IB requirements (24 points, with 3 subjects at Higher Level and 3 at Standard Level) are eligible to apply to all Indian universities.

23. Do Indian entrance exams (like NEET, JEE, CLAT) accept Cambridge or IBDP students?
Yes. Students who complete the Cambridge curriculum (A Levels) or the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) are eligible to appear for major Indian entrance exams. Eligibility depends on the subjects chosen, Some course-specific requirements are outlined below:
- NEET (Medical): Physics, Chemistry and Biology must be studied at A Level (Cambridge) or Higher Level (IBDP).
- JEE (Engineering): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are required at A Level or Higher Level.
- CLAT (Law): No specific subject requirements, though strong English skills are recommended.
- Design, Fashion, or Performing Arts Entrance Exams: Portfolio, aptitude tests, or auditions may be required in addition to board qualifications.
It is important for students to choose subjects in Year Groups 11-12 according to their career goals to ensure eligibility for the exams they plan to take.
